Murky Waters

Dealing with any mental health issue can be like trudging through murky waters. Everything looks cloudy and you, no matter how hard you try and how many different ways you look at it, cannot make out anything concrete.

You can’t see the life in the waters below, the tops of your feet, or any sign of clarity and clear water ahead. You can’t identify anything to pull out; can’t pinpoint what’s real and what’s being blurred.

But you try. You try to get through it and try to dig deep to grasp hold of anything, but the clouds cover up any light being used to find your next step. Do you stay still, revert backwards, or try to move forward despite the uncertainty?
